i agree, theres no chance im giving up vassal 40k, ive even got a section on my website for the sprites i made for the vassal fantasy module, if anyone wants them to continue this, tell me on the forum on my website, http://www.freewebs.com/quickstuff115/, i personally cant program vassal but il try if that is wat it takes to keep vassal up :P

I just want to say thank you for all of your amazing work. If it was not for your awesome modules, I would not have gotten back into 40K and would not be playing Space Marines. Thank you again!!!

Need the original 3.1.10 version as it solved the bug thats now reappeared...

It works on 9.1.9 as I have just checked, though there is a warning message at the start it seems OK...

You'll need to unzip the file gluck if you haven't.
Otherwise all i did was resave it in 3.1.9 Danjaman so I could change the name. Oh and I deleted that random banner in the Orcs Team.

I just found this toay through a friend, but I'd like to thank you and the whole crew for working on this. I don't really have a way to play at home, no space and next to no friends who play. I wish this would stay up but I understand about them protecting their IP.

Please make sure the final pack gets released.
I don't want to lose this. Vassal 40k has been such a wonderful supplement to our group of 40k players. I would feel handicapped without it.
The final pack would make sure that we can continue to enjoy it for decades to come!

Finally a big thank you to everyone who made this vassal 40k possible. It was a pleasure using your product. I'm sorry to see you go...

As for GW... I understand that they feel the need to do this. But it's still such a shame to see the site go down. Perhaps one they they make a computer game that does the same... Until then (and probably even then) your effort will be missed.

If you're readding all the art to the final pack does that include all the old super heavies and Apocalypse templates?

Or if you could just readd the templates in there somewhere, It'd be really cool!

Well, it's certainly not the course of action I would suggest GW take, but it's understandable. It was fun, and thanks for your dedication! I also posted over at gamingdead.com, and I hope that you'll take at least one of the courses of action that I suggested. Thank you for all the great times, and I hope we find some way to continue!

To be honest, I can't say I'm unhappy about this, because hearing about this elsewhere just a few hours ago is what introduced me to V40K in the first place, otherwise I would never have found it. However, from a more objective point of view, this sucks. Thanks for all your hard work, I've only played one game so far but it was great fun.
